Lezlie serves as our Senior Tax Specialist, providing both individual tax planning and business consulting services to our clients. She also has extensive experience with respect to tax and accounting issues of non-profit organizations and is an invaluable resource for our numerous tax-exempt and private foundation clients.

Lezlie holds a bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University. She has over 20 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. During her college years, Lezlie received practical hands-on experience in the accounting field by working each summer for the firm of Ewbank, Wilson & Co., CPAs. Upon graduation from Baylor, Lezlie became a fulltime employee of the same firm. Lezlie then moved into the corporate world as an in-house accountant for a company with oil and gas and miscellaneous business holdings. She returned to public accounting in 1988 and has been affiliated with various firms in the North Texas area since that time. She has been a vital part of the Owen Lyon & Associates team since 2000.

Lezlie’s roots run deep in the Lewisville community, having proudly worn the maroon and white of Lewisville High School as a member of the Farmerette Drill Team (Class of ’78). Lezlie, son Hunter, and daughter Mackenzie are active members of First Baptist Church Lewisville where Lezlie is a member of the Leadership Council and Sanctuary Choir. The Pearson family resides in Highland Village where they participate in a variety of youth sports activities and Lezlie serves as a Board Member for the Marcus High School Volleyball Booster Club.
